The National Flower of Malaysia – Hibiscus rosa-sinesis
The hibiscus, specifically the Hibiscus rosa-sinesis subspecies, was declared as Malaysia's national flower on July 28, 1960. The flower's vibrant colors, courage, vitality, and five petals that fit well with the five principles of the Rukun Negara made it stand out. Additionally, the flower was commonly seen all over the country, blooming all day long and decorating the fences of many households. The hibiscus rosa-sinesis was named Bunga Raya, which means "celebratory flower," reflecting the celebration of unity in a multicultural nation.

Petronas Twin Tower
Petronas Twin Towers - the most recognizable landmark in Malaysia and the only twin tower in the world. They are the 12th tallest skyscrapers in the world, with 88 floors each. The towers' architectural design is inspired by Islamic principles, such as unity, harmony, stability, and rationality. They are supported by 16 large columns and constructed of high-strength concrete, and the roof and walls are made of stainless steel and glass. The towers are a must-see when visiting Kuala Lumpur.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building
An iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was designed by architect A.C. Norman and built-in 1897. The building is named after the Sultan of Selangor and is located in the center of Jalan Raja. It features a mesmerizing combination of Western, Gothic, and Moorish architectural styles. The building is constructed of bricks and boasts a grand porch, huge arches, a clock tower, curved colonnades, and exquisite copper cupolas. The building serves as a backdrop for Malaysia's Independence Day parades every year.

It features domed turrets that remind of the palaces in Rajasthan and pointed arches that resemble buildings from the Middle East and the Maghreb. The station is an attractive and distinctive landmark.
Batu Cave Temple
Batu Caves is a popular tourist destination located in Gombak, Selangor. It features a beautiful Hindu temple built in 1920 and surrounded by limestones that are over 400 million years old. The temple is nestled in the heart of the cave, and visitors need to climb 272 steps to reach it. One of the most prominent features of Batu Caves is the golden statue of Lord Murugan, standing over 140 feet tall at the foot of the stairs. Despite the climb, the beauty of Batu Caves makes it worth the effort.
Putra Mosque
The Putra Mosque is a significant landmark in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Completed in 1999, the mosque can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers at a time. It is made of rose-tinted granite and cengal woodwork, with designs influenced by Arab-Islamic and Safavid periods. The mosque has a 116-m minaret, a 36-m diameter main dome, and eight minor domes. It consists of a prayer hall, courtyard, and various learning facilities and function rooms. The mosque is also open to visitors of all beliefs and religions, who must respect the dress code upon entering.
